We thought it only right, being lovers of stationery, that we take you on a tour of the best places to buy it in London. Over the next month we will post about a different shop each Saturday.
Where else to start but the ever-so-stylish Present and Correct? Tucked down a sleepy side street in Islington this small shop packs a mighty punch. The owners Neal Whittington and Mark Smith, say that they are inspired by “homework, the post office and school”, but they also clearly love mid-century design, and the shop is carefully curated to reflect their tastes.
They mix their own designs with other people’s, and vintage designs sourced from all over the world. It’s hard to pick favourites in a shop so full of beautiful things, but we fell in love with the hexagonal rubbers and vintage times table cards.
